Evolution of curvature perturbation in generalized gravity theories

چکیده
Using the cosmological perturbation theory in terms of the δN formalism, we find the simple formulation of the evolution of the curvature perturbation in generalized gravity theories. Compared with the standard gravity theory, a crucial difference appears in the end-boundary of the inflationary stage, which is due to the non-ideal form of the energy momentum tensor that depends explicitly on the curvature scalar. Recent study shows that ultraviolet-complete quantum theory of gravity may be approximated by using a generalized gravity action. Our paper may give an important step in understanding the evolution of the curvature perturbation during inflation, where the energy momentum tensor may not be given by the ideal form due to the corrections from the fundamental theory.

Correspondence between the first and the second order formalism in the generalized gravity of f ( R ) - type
Correspondence between the first and the second order formalism in the generalized gravity of f (R)-type Abstract We clarify the correspondence between the first order formalism and the second order formalism in the generalized gravity where the Lagrangian density is given by a function of the scalar curvature f (R). Introduction: Up to the present, our knowledge of the universe has become wide...
متن کاملCosmological Vorticity in a Gravity with Quadratic Order Curvature Couplings
where Lm is the matter part Lagrangian. The gravitational field equation is presented in Eq. (2) of [1]. In contrast with the situation with generalized f(φ,R) gravity in Eq. (27), the gravity with Ricci-curvature square term in the action does not have the conformal symmetry to Einstein gravity [2]. In [1] we analysed the gravitational wave and derived a fourth order differential equation. How...
متن کاملStructure formation and generalized second law of thermodynamics in some viable f(R)-gravity models
We investigate the growth of matter density perturbations as well as the generalized second law (GSL) of thermodynamics in the framework of f(R)-gravity. We consider a spatially flat FRW universe filled with the pressureless matter and radiation which is enclosed by the dynamical apparent horizon with the Hawking temperature. For some viable f(R) models containing the Starobinsky, Hu-Sawicki, Exp...

Asymptotically exact and nonlocal third order nonlinear evolution equations are derivedfor two counterpropagating surface capillary gravity wave packets in deep water in thepresence of wind flowing over water. From these evolution equations stability analysis ismade for a uniform standing surface capillary gravity wave trains for longitudinal perturbation. Instability condition is obtained and g...
متن کاملCovariant Hamiltonian evolution in supersymmetric quantum systems
We develop a general formalism for covariant Hamiltonian evolution of supersymmetric (field) theories by making use of the fact that these can be represented on the exterior bundle over their bosonic configuration space as generalized Dirac-Kähler systems of the form (d±d†) |ψ〉 = 0. By using suitable deformations of the supersymmetry generators we find covariant Hamiltonians for target spaces w...
